woodland houses

Today's spring break project was woodland houses. Fairy houses, really, but I have boys, so they are "woodland houses." I'd collected curly bark from our tree last fall, and various twigs and seeds and milkweed pods, and I'd been waiting for just the right day to do this. So out came the cereal boxes from the recycling, out came the Elmer's glue, and out came our neighbor Lexy, and we set to work out in the sunny backyard. The top two belong to Lexy and Nathan (his is the little one) and the bottom one is mine. (I was still working on mine long after everyone else was done - it was so much fun!) Spencer's left his unfinished to go practice his light saber technique, so I don't have a picture. (Again, I have boys.) These were so fun, and so easy - you should tear up a cereal box, go pick some things off of a tree, and make one!
